Engine Bay Efficiency – Cooling, Carbon & Flow

Every detail under the engine lid of the Micarja SF.5 is engineered for extreme performance. At the heart of the system lies a high-efficiency intercooler, developed for consistent charge air cooling even under peak boost pressure. Combined with upgraded ducts and airflow guidance, intake temperatures are drastically reduced, ensuring safe and reliable power delivery — lap after lap.

The engine bay is surrounded by prepreg carbon components — not only for weight saving, but also to increase heat resistance and rigidity. Each panel is autoclave-cured, lightweight and dimensionally perfect. These carbon parts aren’t just visual – they contribute to airflow control and engine bay pressure balance.

Finishing it all off is a custom carbon intake system, designed to eliminate restriction and maintain laminar flow at high RPMs. The system features smooth-flow tubing, an enlarged carbon plenum and reinforced joints — ideal for builds pushing beyond 1000 horsepower. Functional, aggressive and track-proven.
