The Micarja Philosophy

The Micarja Philosophy

Respect the past.
Engineer the future.

The Micarja Philosophy is founded on a clear principle: every Porsche should remain unmistakably Porsche while becoming more refined, more individual and more complete.

Micarja Racing was not founded because Porsche needs to be corrected. It was founded because some of Porsche’s most compelling stories still feel unfinished.

The Micarja Philosophy does not begin with modification. It begins with understanding the original automobile, the purpose behind its engineering and the character that made it significant.

Many companies modify Porsches by pursuing more power, more visual drama or more immediate attention. Our approach begins elsewhere.

We ask what might have happened if Porsche’s own engineers and designers had continued developing a model beyond the commercial, regulatory or production constraints of its era.

Every Micarja project starts with research, proportion, purpose and respect. The goal is not to create a car that looks modified. The goal is to create a car that feels as though history simply forgot to record it.

“The highest compliment is not: what an extraordinary modification. It is: did Porsche really build this?”

02 — Respect Before Reinvention

How the Micarja Philosophy Shapes Every Porsche

Before changing a Porsche, we first need to understand why it became important.

A Porsche is not a blank canvas. Its identity is carried by its architecture, driving position, proportions, engineering logic and decades of continuous development.

These qualities are not obstacles. They are the foundation. Micarja does not seek to overwrite that foundation. We work within it.

Every line, material and performance decision must reinforce the character of the original car rather than compete with it.

01

Understand

Study the model, its era, its engineering and the intention behind the original design.

02

Refine

Improve only where a change delivers genuine technical, visual or emotional value.

03

Unify

Ensure every component belongs to one coherent automobile rather than a collection of upgrades.

Movement, Proportion and Purpose

The character of a Porsche is understood on the road, not only in the studio.

03 — OEM+

OEM+ Within the Micarja Philosophy

OEM+ is often used to describe subtle modification. For Micarja, it means something far more demanding.

Within the Micarja Philosophy, OEM+ means that every new component must appear to have been developed together with the original Porsche.

Every component must appear to have been conceived at the same time as the car itself. Surfaces must connect. Materials must behave consistently.

The aerodynamic, structural and visual logic must remain credible. Nothing should look added. Nothing should exist only to attract attention.

  • Design that respects the original silhouette
  • Factory-level fit, finish and integration
  • Performance that remains usable and coherent
  • Details that reward scrutiny
  • A result that remains convincing for decades

04 — The Micarja Crest

The Crest Behind the Micarja Philosophy

The Micarja crest is not decoration. It is a compact expression of the values behind every project.

At its centre is a Norwegian Forest Cat. Long before Micarja Racing existed, the Micarja name was connected to this remarkable breed.

Its strength, intelligence, composure and natural elegance became a lasting source of inspiration.

The shield refers to the heritage of coachbuilding. Titanium represents technical precision and strength. Black expresses discipline and timelessness. Red represents passion, used with restraint.

Not louder.
Not more extreme.
More resolved.

05 — Materials

Materials with Purpose

Advanced materials are valuable only when they solve a real problem.

Carbon fibre, titanium, magnesium and aluminium are chosen for their structural behaviour, weight, heat resistance, durability and visual integrity.

Material selection is part of the Micarja Philosophy. A visible component must be technically justified. A hidden component must be executed with the same care.

06 — Engineering

Engineering at the Core of the Micarja Philosophy

A Micarja project is not a styling exercise. It is an integrated engineering programme.

Engineering is central to the Micarja Philosophy. Performance, cooling, braking, suspension, aerodynamics and daily usability must function as one coherent system.

Performance figures are never allowed to exist independently from reliability, balance and control.

07 — Coachbuilding

Modern Coachbuilding by Micarja Racing

Coachbuilding is the art of creating an individual automobile without losing the identity of its foundation.

Historically, the finest coachbuilders united design, craft and engineering around a single client. Micarja translates that tradition into a modern Porsche context.

The Micarja Philosophy gives the client freedom while one design and engineering direction protects the coherence of the complete automobile.

08 — Timeless Design

Timeless Design Within the Micarja Philosophy

Trends are easy to recognise. Timeless design is far harder to achieve.

The Micarja Philosophy rejects short-lived design trends in favour of proportion, material integrity and long-term visual relevance.

Proportion comes before decoration. Surface quality comes before complexity. Character comes before aggression.

We are not interested in building the loudest Porsche. We are interested in building the Porsche that feels inevitable.

09 — Our Promise

The Micarja Philosophy in Practice

These principles guide every Micarja commission, regardless of model, era or scale.

01

We never modify for the sake of modification.

02

We never compromise the defining Porsche identity of the donor car.

03

We never allow appearance to overrule engineering credibility.

04

We never pursue trends at the expense of long-term design integrity.

05

We treat every commission as an individual automobile, not a catalogue of parts.

06

We remain accountable for the coherence of the complete project.

Build the Porsche That Might Have Been

The Micarja Philosophy will continue to guide every commission: respect the past, engineer the future and build the Porsche that might have been.
